White ink on black fabric. Fabric is 100% cotton broadcloth. The cord is dark orange cotton macrame cord. All block prints designed and carved by me.

I would hand wash this item simply because I am unsure what the cord will do in a machine. All the flags are machine washable so potentially you could slide them off and throw them in a washing machine/dryer on any setting. You will have to iron them afterwards though and some fraying may occur.
